Before starting my own lettering and pattern design studio, Let Me Repeat Myself, I had a successful decades-long career as a graphic designer, and art director, a field I continue working in to this day.
So in addition to weird lettering and patterns, I specialize in corporate related areas like branding, infographics & iconography, illustration, decals & large installation graphics, and templates like presentation design, among many others.
Here are some example areas of expertise that I bring into my LMRM work:
Through my almost 20 year corporate career, I’ve been able to work on an incredibly wide variety of projects on both agency-side and in-house teams as a graphic designer, art director, and illustrator. While my true passion now lies in the LMRM work you see here, the time I’ve spent working in and designing for brands in fashion and tech (among others) has been incredibly valuable.
I gained a lot of experience in areas like branding, iconography and infographics, event and marketing collateral, print production, presentation design, templates, and collaborating in a corporate environment in general. While I knew I loved information design and organization, I also came to learn that I found something satisfying about elevating a simple design (like a map or presentation), or making detailed print specs that were clear and thorough - thanks ADHD!
